Empower Through Education

I am a lifelong Rogers Park resident with a deep and abiding love of Chicago's public schools. I am a CPS alum, a mother of a CPS alum, a former CPS teacher, and a former LSC member. I know that when we have healthy schools, we have healthy kids, healthy families, and healthy communities.

My vision is for fully-funded schools that are rooted in justice and equity. We need schools that meet the needs of children as individuals and support families too. And our schools should be recognized and respected as the anchors of community that they are.
